MGM Resorts listed among top green companies in U.S.

MGM Resorts International was listed among Newsweek magazine’s 500 most environmentally responsible companies in the United States.

The honor marked the second consecutive year the casino operator made the list. MGM Resorts was the highest ranking company among casino operators and was ranked as the third most highly rated hotel company on the list.

Newsweek’s rankings were produced with two environmental research firms, Trucost and Sustainalytics. MGM Resorts moved from No. 174 overall in 2010 to No. 157 in this year’s rankings.
