Steve Wynn has been successful in Las Vegas and Macau, but now the casino developer has set his sights on Singapore.
According to reports, Wynn, CEO of Las Vegas-based Wynn Resorts Ltd., is looking to build a hotel-casino in the growing market.
“I’m dying to go to Singapore,” Wynn told Singapore’s Business Times in an interview published Saturday. “That’s the next goal in life … to build a hotel in Singapore.”
Wynn is already one of the dominant players in Macau, but would have to wait until March 2017 to open a property in Singapore because of an exclusivity period granted by the government to incumbent operators, Las Vegas Sands Corp. and Genting.
