Loveman will address gaming summit

BILOXI, Miss. – Gary Loveman, chairman and CEO of Caesars Entertainment, will speak at the opening session of first full day of the 2013 Southern Gaming Summit in Biloxi on May 8.

The 20th annual convention is scheduled for May 8-9. Meetings will be held at the Mississippi Coast Coliseum in Biloxi.

Mississippi Casino Operators Association co-hosts the event with BNP Media Gaming Group.

The conference will include workshops on various gambling issues.

Loveman joined Caesars Entertainment Corp. as chief operating officer in 1998 after serving as an associate professor at the Harvard University Graduate School of Business Administration. He was named CEO in January of 2003.

The convention’s companion show, Bingo World Conference & Expo Bingo, will offer sessions including its popular Bingo U workshops.
