Gaming equipment group, executive director, have deal

The Association of Gaming Equipment Manufacturers and its executive director have agreed on a new three-year contract.

The trade organization said Marcus Prater, who has been on the job since 2008, signed a new agreement that will keep him in charge of the group until 2015.

Terms weren’t disclosed.

Since Prater became executive director, the organization’s membership has more than tripled and now stands at 109 companies, including 30 based outside of the United States.
