Earnings, profits increase in quarter for Isle of Capri Casinos

Regional gaming operator Isle of Capri Casinos increased fourth-quarter earnings and grew revenues, the St. Louis-based company said Thursday.
Isle of Capri also said three of its five casinos that were closed due to flooding along the Mississippi River are now reopened.
Isle of Capri earned $10.9 million, or 29 cents per share, for the three months ended April 24. A year ago, the company reported net earnings of $4.9 million, or 15 cents per share.
Analysts surveyed by FactSet expected earnings of 24 cents per share.
Fourth-quarter revenue grew 2.1 percent to $274.4 million from $268.8 million as casino revenue increased.
Isle of Capri said it has reopened casinos in Davenport, Iowa, and Caruthersville, Mo. In Mississippi, properties in Vicksburg and Natchez remain closed.
