Cantor Gaming to take bets at Outpost Saloon

Cantor Gaming and Vertigo Enterprises LLC have reached a deal allowing Outpost Saloon customers to open Cantor sports wagering accounts, the Las Vegas-based bookmaker said Tuesday.

Vertigo operates one Outpost Saloon in Las Vegas. Customers will be able to open an account, fund their account, withdraw money and wager through their accounts, Cantor Gaming said in a statement.

Customers who open accounts at Outpost Saloon will also be able to wager anywhere in Nevada, because they will be registered to use Cantor Gaming’s mobile application or sports betting website.

Terms of the deal weren’t disclosed.

“This agreement follows other recent similar expansion announcements by Cantor gaming and demonstrates the popularity of on-the-go sports wagering,” Cantor Gaming President and CEO Lee Amaitis said.

In September, Cantor Gaming signed a similar agreement with Corrigan Management Inc. and its two RoadRunner Saloons in Las Vegas.

Cantor Gaming, an affiliate of financial services firm Cantor Fitzgerald, in August launched Wi-Fi-enabled sports betting statewide, followed by the release of its mobile betting application for Apple products.Contact reporter Chris Sieroty at csieroty@reviewjournal.com or 702-477-3893.
