Cantor Gaming launches iPhone, iPad betting apps

Cantor Gaming on Thursday launched Cantor Sports Book, a mobile sports wagering application for Apple Inc. products. The app, which has been approved by Nevada gaming regulators, allows customers to wager from all Apple devices, including iPhones and iPads.

The app is available in the App Store and works only in Nevada. Customers must sign up for an account in person at a Cantor sports book, a company executive said.

Cantor Gaming joins William Hill U.S. as the two Las Vegas-based bookmakers offering sports wagering applications for Apple products. Station Casinos LLC is expected to release its mobile sports wagering app by Oct. 31.
