Wynn designer Roger Thomas named Art Design Icon of the Year by Academy of Art University

Wynn Resorts Ltd., Vice President of Design Roger Thomas added another award to his already impressive resume.

Thomas was recently named the Art Design Icon of the Year by the Academy of Art University in San Francisco.

Thomas, who oversaw the interior design for all the resorts owned by Wynn Resorts and properties developed by the former Mirage Resorts, was honored for his work in interior design in the hospitality industry.

Thomas accepted the award at the university during a reception and spoke with students of the school about his career and experiences.

In addition to his work designing the interiors for Wynn Las Vegas, Encore, and Wynn Macau, Thomas designed interiors at Bellagio, Treasure Island and the Golden Nugget.
