Poker movie to premier during CineVegas

The CineVegas Film Festival will unveil the world premiere of “All In: The Poker Movie” across the street from where the World Series of Poker is taking place.
The movie tells the story of poker, focusing on its resurgence over the past few years and features interviews with some of the game’s top players, including past World Series of Poker champions Chris Ferguson Joe Hachem, Phil Hellmuth, Tom McEvoy, Chris Moneymaker, Scott Nguyen and Greg Raymer.
Many Hollywood celebrities who enjoy the game, including Matt Damon, star of the poker-themed “Rounders,” also participated in the film.
The world premiere will take place at 7:30 p.m. Thursday at the Brenden Theatres at the Palms Casino Resort.
Some of the players featured in the film, including Annie Duke, Jamie Gold, Hellmuth, McEvoy, “Amarillo Slim” Preston, author James McManus, and World Series of Poker Commissioner Jeffery Pollack are expected to walk the red carpet at 7 p.m.
A second screening of “All In” is planned for 12:30 p.m. on Friday.
