Pinnacle Entertainment named Carlos Ruisanchez as chief financial officer Monday, replacing Stephen Capp, who had resigned effective the end of the month.
Ruisanchez, 40, is currently the Las Vegas-based regional casino operator’s executive vice president of strategic planning and development. He joined Pinnacle in 2008. He will handle both positions for the company.
Ruisanchez was an investment banker at Bear, Stearns & Co. before joining Pinnacle.
During his tenure at Pinnacle, Ruisanchez led the company’s development efforts, including opening the River City Casino in St. Louis a year ago, the planning for the under-construction casino in Baton Rouge, La., and the recent purchase of the River Downs Racetrack in Ohio.
