The Orleans, which is operated by Boyd Gaming Corp., was the highest scorer in customer satisfaction for Las Vegas casinos, according to Market Metrix, a national research firm that measures customer satisfaction in the hospitality industry.
The firm released its first-quarter 2010 survey results and ranked the Orleans the highest scorer in the Casinos category. The Venetian won the highest ranking for Upscale Casinos.
According to Market Metrix, nearly all hotel segments improved customer satisfaction scores. The Borgata, Boyd’s Atlantic City resort, also showed a large increase.
Market Metrix said passenger satisfaction with airlines dropped sharply in the first quarter with most airline scores declining. Meanwhile, consumer satisfaction with rental cars improved.
The Market Metrix Hospitality Index is based on 35,000 customer interviews conducted each quarter.
