The New York Post reported that Wynn Resorts Ltd. Chairman Steve Wynn has spent $70 million to purchase a penthouse at The Ritz-Carlton on Central Park South.
The newspaper said the 10,882-square-foot duplex on the 30th and 31st floors of the building is one of the priciest properties on the Manhattan real-estate market.
The penthouse, once the hotel’s grand ballroom, was originally listed at $77.5 million, until Wynn negotiated it down, the Post reported.
The penthouse features 15-foot ceilings, a 900-square-foot living room, a media room, a library and a windowed, eat-in chef’s kitchen.
There’s also a terrace with striking views of Central Park.
The lower level has four bedrooms and an 800-square-foot dressing room.
Maintenance fees are $18,057 per month, sources told the newspaper.
