New Shuffle Master CEO tackles conflict with Elixir

It didn’t take Tim Parrott long to get acclimated into his role as the head of casino equipment vendor Shuffle Master Gaming.

In his first week as Chief Executive Officer, the company settled a long-standing legal skirmish with rival Elixir Gaming Technologies. On Thursday, Parrott was elected to a seat in the company’s board of directors.

Parrott, who headed casino operator Boomtown and the American operations for Australian slot machine maker Aristocrat, replaced Mark Yoseloff, who retired.
