Former Disney executive joins LV Sands board
Las Vegas Sands Corp. named former Disney executive Wing Chao as a member of the company’s board of directors.
Chao retired from Disney in 2009, where he had been vice president of Walt Disney Imagineering. He oversaw master planning, architecture, and development of Disney’s land holdings in California, Florida, Paris, Tokyo and Hong Kong.
Chao was also vice chairman of development for Disney Parks and Resorts, Asia Pacific.
Chao played a key role in developing and implementing projects worth more than $8 billion.
