Cantor Gaming names Sawdon as CFO
Coreen Sawdon spent more than a year as the interim chief financial officer at Shuffle Master Gaming.
Mobile gaming device pioneer Cantor Gaming removed the interim label.
Sawdon was named Cantor Gaming’s chief financial officer Thursday, where she will also be in charge of strategic management of accounting and finance operations for the company, which also operates the sports books at M Resort and the Hard Rock.
In addition to her career at Shuffle Master, where was also chief accounting officer, Sawdon held financial positions at GES Exposition Services and several public accounting firms.
“In light of the company’s significant expansion over the past 18 months, Corie’s extensive knowledge and expertise in the gaming industry will help us continue to focus on innovation and on building successful partnerships with the leading properties in Las Vegas,” said Cantor Gaming President Lee Amaitis.
