American Gaming Association re-elects board members

The American Gaming Association’s membership re-elected five current board members to new three-year terms overseeing the Washington D.C.-based trade lobbying organization
Directors re-elected were Brian Gamache, chairman and chief executive officer of WMS Gaming; Gordon Kanofsky, CEO and vice chairman of Ameristar Casinos; Michael Leven, President of Las Vegas Sands Corp.; Virginia McDowell, President of Isle of Capri Casinos; and Anthony Sanfilippo, CEO of Pinnacle Entertainment.
Robert Heller, managing director and head of gaming and leisure for the Americas at UBS Investment Bank, and Larry Ruvo, senior managing director of Southern Wine and Spirits of Nevada, were elected as at-large directors to the board.
The leadership of the American Gaming Association board remains in place. Boyd Gaming CEO Keith Smith is chairman and Bally Technologies CEO Richard Haddrill is vice chairman. Their terms expire at the end of 2011.
Current board members include International Game Technology CEO Patti Hart, Nick Khin, president of the Americas for Aristocrat Technologies; Caesars Entertainment CEO Gary Loveman; MGM Resorts International Chairman and CEO Jim Murren; and Tim Wilmott, President of Penn National Gaming.
