2014 Nightclub & Bar award winners to be toasted in March
This March, a handful of Las Vegas nightlife venues will have something to celebrate.
The 2014 Nightclub & Bar Award Winners were announced this week, and the honorees will be celebrated during the Nightclub & Bar Convention and Trade Show slated for March 24-26 at the Las Vegas Convention Center.
“This is no beauty contest selected merely on aesthetics,” said Jon Taffer, president of Nightclub & Bar Media Group. “Receiving this award means the recipient has demonstrated the skill and innovation needed to succeed and excel in this highly competitive business.”
Nightclub & Bar separates Las Vegas venues from the rest of the country for its award program, so these winners only were up against local venues. Other locales compete against each other in separate categories.
The 2014 winners are: Laundry Room at Commonwealth for cocktail bar of the year; Encore Beach for dayclub of the year; Ghostbar for lounge of the year; Light for new concept of the year; Hakkasan for nightclub of the year; Summer Lovin’ featuring Kaskade at Marquee for promo, party or event of the year; Diplo at XS and Surrender for resident DJ of the year; and Herbs n Rye for restaurant bar of the year.
