Feel the need for speed? The 2016 Dodge Challenger/Charger SRT Hellcat boasts an unprecedented 707-horsepower engine. Towbin Dodge and Prestige Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram offer a number of Challenger SRT Hellcat and Charger SRT Hellcat models.
“The Hellcat is one of the most fun cars that I’ve ever driven,” said Josh “Chop” Towbin, co-owner of Towbin Automotive. “You can feel the power at your fingertips, and the steering is comfortable and seamless. I love being able to sell these cars.”
To compare the power of the 707-horsepower muscle car, the Environmental Protection Agency recently estimated the preliminary average horsepower for cars in 2015 to be roughly 200. NASCAR had a maximum of 725 horsepower for its 2015 Sprint Cup Series.
The Dodge SRT Hellcat is a two-door powerhouse featuring 650 pounds of torque, a top track speed of 199 mph and a 0-60 second acceleration of around three seconds. It contains a 6.2-liter Hellcat engine, the most powerful production V-8 engine in production, and comes optionally equipped with an LCD display screen, 18 speakers with SirusXM satellite radio, maximum seating for five and brake assist technology.
Towbin Dodge is currently displaying a unique Hellcat model, presented to Towbin at the end of last year by Timothy Kuniskis, head of passenger car brands — Dodge, SRT, Chrysler and Fiat — for Fiat Chrysler Automobiles, in recognition of the dealership’s accomplishments for 2015. The Hellcat is the last of its kind built in 2015 and is a one-of-one model, complete with custom paint, reconfigurations and is the only car of its type with painted stripes. The car includes complete build information and specs displayed in the trunk along with a custom USB port containing photos of the entire process.
Towbin Automotive currently offers 2016 models in a variety of colors and styles. More information is available at 702-558-3800 or by visiting the dealership at 275 Auto Mall Drive. Towbin Dodge is open Monday through Saturday from 9 a.m. to 10 p.m.
