Two Findlay dealerships support Light the Night on Nov. 7

Findlay Automotive Group will help sponsor the Southern Nevada chapter of the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s annual Light the Night Walk on Nov. 7 in downtown Las Vegas.

Supported by Findlay dealerships Findlay Honda Henderson and Land Rover Las Vegas, this year’s event will feature more than 5,000 lanterns during the walk, starting at 899 Fremont St., just east of Container Park.

Presented in more than 200 communities across the country, the annual event features co-workers, families and friends who walk together holding illuminated lanterns during a twilight walk.

Findlay Honda Henderson is the start and finish-line sponsor while Land Rover Las Vegas is the roving refreshments sponsor.

Registration begins at 3 p.m., with a remembrance ceremony at 3:30 p.m. The walk is set to start at 5 p.m.

Last year’s walk drew more than 5,000 participants who raised a record-breaking $510,000. Participants are encouraged to raise at least $100 to become Champions for Cures and receive an illuminated lantern. Those who raise $1,000 or more join the Bright Lights Club and receive a special long-sleeve shirt and access to the VIP area at the walk.
