Jeep Cherokee Overland offers rugged luxury

Chapman Automotive soon will offer the latest to its full lineup of Jeep Grand Cherokees — the fresh trim level of the Jeep Cherokee Overland.

Available at both Chapman Dodge Chrysler Jeep Ram and Chapman Chrysler Jeep, the new Overland trim offers many of the same luxurious amenities and materials as upscale versions of the Grand Cherokee in a smaller, efficient package.

A fresh design and smaller in size, the 2017 Cherokee Overland boasts two rows of seats with a polished luxury generally reserved for vehicles with a higher price point. The soft Nappa leather seats are heated and ventilated, while the interior has a leather and wood combination, giving a rugged luxurious feel. The exterior boasts a supple suspension, 18-inch wheels, chrome trim and body-color moldings.

“The Jeep Overland’s new, more luxurious trim level is a great option for those looking for a smaller version of the Grand Cherokee with a beautiful, refined design and feel,” said Don Hamrick, general manger of Chapman Dodge Chrysler Jeep Ram. “This is a welcomed refresh to the Overland and the Grand Cherokee lineup overall.”

Added options for off-road enthusiasts include the heavy duty protection group, which includes skid plates and a full-size spare tire, a must-have for desolate excursions. A trailer tow prep package allows for leveraging the Jeep Cherokee Overland’s 2,000-pound towing capacity.
