Friendly Ford customer care coordinator cites dealership’s awards

As customer care coordinator for Friendly Ford, 17-year employee Geri Bich can speak firsthand about the importance of what is referred to as the J.D. Power U.S. Customer Service Index.

The CSI measures a dealership’s key customer service components, including sales, parts and service. The importance of such surveys plays a huge role in the success of a dealership.

Friendly Ford is a 17-time winner of the prestigious President’s Award, Ford’s highest single honor for customer satisfaction. A dealership cannot receive the designation if its CSI is not high.

“It is very important,” said Bich, who monitors surveys received by the dealership. “Good customer service is vital to our working relationships with our customers, and everyone with Friendly Ford is aware of that fact. It all starts with greeting the customer no matter what department.”

Bich said competition in the business is now stronger than ever. With that in mind, it’s very important that members of the Friendly Ford team continually meet the needs of the customer.

“Especially with the creation of the internet, every one of us at Friendly Ford is aware of the importance of providing the best possible service whether it’s sales or service. We all go the extra step to make sure our customers are well taken care of,” she said. “The fact that we have so many repeat buyers is also a good sign that this dealership has the right formula no matter what the department.”

Also key to the continued smooth-running machine at Friendly Ford is the longtime employees in place at the dealership.

“We have many employees who have been with us for more than 20 years,” Bich said. “We love working here and take pride in our overall team effort that is evidenced by the amount of times this dealership has been awarded the President’s Award, which that can only be achieved with a true teamwork effort.”

Situated at 660 N. Decatur Blvd., Friendly Ford has been at the same location since it was opened in 1970. Further information can be found by calling 702-870-7221 or by visiting www.friendlyfordlv.com.
