Focus proves invaluable safety-wise at Friendly Ford
The 2016 Focus has been a strong model at Friendly Ford for several reasons that range from safety to performance and gas mileage.
A stock 2016 Focus is available in four different models including the S, SE, Titanium and the ST and RS. With everything from a stock S and SE to the fully loaded top-end model and the sporty RS, Ford attracted a good buyer when it introduced the 2016 Focus in 2015. With engines that include the 1.0-liter EcoBoost with 123 horsepower, a 2.0 liter in-line four cylinder with 160 horsepower and a 2.3 liter Eco Boost I-4 four cylinder with 252 horsepower, the engine packages are smart and practical combining good power with the fuel mileage that ranges from 27 to 32 miles to the gallon city, highway and combined fuel mileage.

A devout Ford fan who grew up with the product starting 30 years ago, sales consultant Misti Beach is a fan of the Focus.
“My son just bought a ’16 Ford Focus and we could not have found him a better car,” Beach said. “As a parent, I know first-hand how much we worry about kids when they start driving and I feel comfortable with my 23-year-old college student driving a Focus.”
Beach said the Focus was built for safety, a key element in her son’s purchase. “His Focus has the Advance Track Stability Control, and that speaks volumes,” she said. “In addition, it has the standard seven-airbags, so that’s yet another thing that we don’t need to worry about. He will walk away from an accident.”
In fact, Beach’s son was involved in a wreck of another Focus this past summer.
“He walked away unharmed from the accident and that solidified our belief in the Focus,” she said. “I have no problem selling a Focus because I believe in the car.”
The Focus also has the option of Sync3, which has enhanced voice recognition, Siri Integration that provides benefits such as Wi-Fi update and 911 assist along with hands-free calling.
