Edgar-Faber fight headlines UFC’s first card in Philippines

A featherweight bout between Frankie Edgar and Urijah Faber will serve as the main event for an Ultimate Fighting Championship card Saturday in Manila, the first time the organization has held an event in the Philippines.

Also on the main card, which airs at 7 a.m. on Fox Sports 1 (Cable 329), middleweight Mark Munoz will fight Luke Barnatt. Munoz has said he will retire after the fight.

The four-fight preliminary card will air live on the network at 5 a.m.

In other UFC news, the organization announced that an event previously scheduled for Hollywood, Fla., on July 12 has been moved to the MGM Grand.

The Ultimate Fighter 21 Finale card will be headlined by a welterweight fight between Stephen Thompson and Jake Ellenberger. It will take place the day after UFC 189 at the same venue.
