Incoming clouds won’t stop Vegas warmth

Even with cloudy weather in the valley’s near future, Las Vegas can expect temperatures to sit above normal this week, according to the National Weather Service.
Sunday highs should reach about 85 degrees, more than 10 degrees above normal and just a few degrees short of a record high, according to weather service meteorologist Clay Morgan.
Low temperatures Sunday and the rest of the week are forecast between 55 and 60 degrees, Morgan said.
Monday is expected to see similarly sunny weather with few clouds and high temperatures peaking about 83 degrees.
Partly cloudy coverage will roll into the valley Tuesday, but high temperatures will still be about 81, Morgan said.
Wednesday and Thursday will be mostly cloudy with a very small chance for rain. High temps about 78 and 76 – still about 5 degrees above normal for this time of year, Morgan said – will accompany overcast skies and a 20 percent chance of showers.
