Pahrump man faces charges in sexual assault of 6-year-old girl

A 39-year-old Pahrump man was arrested Saturday for allegedly sexually assaulting a six-year-old girl, the Nye County Sheriff’s said.

The child reported to police that Michael Rodger Henderson, a family friend, assaulted her at his home in February. Police said Henderson admitted to sexually assaulting the girl several times.

Henderson is charged with sexual assault of a child under the age of 14, child sexual abuse and lewdness with a minor child under the age of 14. Bail was set at $250,000.
