Obama to visit Nevada next week

Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama will visit Nevada next week, his campaign said Tuesday.

The Illinois senator plans to visit Northern Nevada on May 31 and Las Vegas on June 1, and will hold a public event in each place, the campaign said.

Further details of Obama’s schedule — the time and location of the events and how to get tickets — weren’t released Tuesday.

Obama’s visit follows one by Sen. Hillary Clinton, D-N.Y., who is to be in Las Vegas on May 30. The Senate has a recess scheduled and will not be in session next week.
