Deputy Lad – Sharp win in Cushion track debut and off a 2-month hiatus; he won and still appears to be moving forward.
Hudson Bank – Claimed by Ellis off a photo finish win; is kept at the same level and a similar try puts him right there.
Long Shot – Si Chimi
Race 2 – 1 1/16th miles, Purse $48,000, Maiden special weights, 3-year-olds and up
Forward Commitment – Showed nice improvement in last off a 2-month hiatus; moves inside to save some ground and rally late.
Owen Roe O’Neill – Tepid chalk stretching out around 2-turns for the first time; speedball will be tested in the stretch.
Long Shot – Pointing Star
Race 3 – 1 mile (turf, rail at 15 feet), Purse $51,000, Optional claiming $80,000, Fillies, 3-year-olds
Ainamaa – Exiting a sharp MSW win and appears capable of a lot more; she beat a good field, just might win her conditions.
Marvelous Marcia – Canani is always dangerous, even more so at honest odds; stretching out on grass for the first time.
Long Shot – Angeletta
Race 4 – 4 1/2 furlongs, Purse $46,000, Maiden special weights, 2-year-olds
Captain Quick – FTS by Swiss Yodeler and from the precocious Harrington baby barn; been working fast and could be tough.
Premier Issue – Has the experience and performance edge over the rest of the field; inside post is another good benefit.
Long Shot – Tommys Luck

Enter Anon – Claimed by Cerin and moved with confidence up in class; tactical speed to sit a perfect trip, has back class.
Five Star Charm – Was grossly overmatched in last and turned in a miserable race; a forgiving handicapper looks two races back.
Long Shot – Bridge Too Far

Herbie Love – Was flattered when MyCitybytheBay won next time out; wide post allows for a comfortable stalking trip.
Miller’s Turbo – Speedball draws the rail in this elongated sprint; should be in front early, but the puzzle is can she last.

Yes He’s a Pistol – O’Neill drop down may be able to win from memory; he is never afraid to drop way down to win a race.
Gray Black N White – Canani charge is making his second start off a 15-month hiatus; ran evenly in return, should improve.
Long Shot – French Souvenir
Race 8 – 7 furlongs, $100,000 Las Barrera Memorial, 3-year-olds
Desert Code – Slight edge in the toughest race on the card; like the turn back in distance from the grassy mile La Puente.
Try to Fly – Dead late closer will soon find out if he’s a late closing sprinter or can he stretch out; powerful late charge.
Long Shot – Principle Secret
Race 9 – 6 furlongs, Purse $15,000, Maiden claiming $25,000, Fillies and mares, 3-year-olds and up
Stompin Gia – Very good debut considering that Mullins rarely cranks them up first time; like the switch to bugboy Talamo.
Candygram – Did a classic pop and stop for Sadler and in now shortening up in distance; Pedroza will nurse this speedball.
