NEON THURSDAY

Two previews set for magic show

You can be the first on your block to see “The Beauty of Magic” and one of the few to see it at discounted prices when Planet Hollywood’s new magic show offers the first of only two previews today.

The title refers to featured star Pamela Anderson, who plans on spending the summer giving a high-profile launch to the relatively obscure Dutch magician Hans Klok.

It’s a large-scale illusion show featuring 16 dancers and big effects such as Anderson floating to the rafters and down again.

All tickets are $38 for preview performances at 7 and 10 p.m. inside the former Aladdin concert hall, 3667 Las Vegas Blvd. South; call 785-5000.
