Bonanza wins in 11 innings

Bonanza’s Tomo Delp singled to center in the bottom of the 11th inning to score Ryan Pineda and give the Bengals a 1-0 home win over top-ranked Bishop Gorman in high school baseball Thursday.
Chasen Shreve started and pitched seven scoreless innings. He allowed four hits and struck out four. Steve Francom pitched the final four innings, allowing three hits and striking out three, to get the win.
Delp finished 4-for-6 and Shreve was 3-for-6 with a double for Bonanza, which had 13 hits.
Gorman starter Jeff Malm struck out five in seven scoreless innings.
• Green Valley 7, Silverado 6 — At Green Valley, Nick Melino delivered an RBI single with two outs in the bottom of the ninth to lift the Gators.
Melino was 4-for-6 with two doubles and three RBIs, and Jordan Van Hoosier was 2-for-4 and scored the winning run.
Silverado’s Mike McDade hit his 12th home run, and teammate Kevin Rath had a double and a triple.
• Arbor View 11, Centennial 10 — At Centennial, Robbie Garvey was 3-for-5 with a double, a triple, three runs and two RBIs as the Aggies held off a late rally to edge the Bulldogs.
Steven Hindle went 2-for-3 with three runs and two RBIs, and Aggies teammate Logan Marchant was 3-for-4. Billy D’Arienzo was 3-for-3 with three RBIs for Centennial.
• Cimarron-Memorial 7, Shadow Ridge 1 — At Shadow Ridge, Kody Gorden allowed one hit in 5 2/3 innings to help the Spartans prevail.
Gorden allowed an unearned run and struck out five. He also went 2-for-3 with a run.
Brent Swaner was 3-for-4 with two runs and an RBI for Cimarron.
• Del Sol 3, Foothill 1 — At Del Sol, Ryan Klorman pitched a two-hitter with six strikeouts to lead the Dragons to victory.
Randy Cruz was 2-for-2 with two runs and two stolen bases for the Dragons.
• Cheyenne 15, Mojave 6 — At Mojave, Robert Weekly went 4-for-4 with a double, a triple, three runs and three RBIs as the Desert Shields cruised.
Andrew Perez added three hits and two RBIs and Marquise Hall had two hits and three RBIs for Cheyenne, which scored nine runs in the third.
• Liberty 13, Vo-Tech 4 — At Vo-Tech, Andre Navarro was 5-for-5 with a double, a triple and three RBIs as the Patriots defeated the Roadrunners.
Craig Klaver went 2-for-2 with two RBIs and two runs for Liberty.
• Coronado 10, Basic 3 — At Basic, Jake Wagner was
3-for-5 with two doubles and Ty Wagonseller was 3-for-4 with two RBIs to lead the Cougars over the Wolves.
Ben Morris and Tim Arthur each hit a three-run homer for Coronado.
• Basic 10, Coronado 6 — At Basic, the Wolves defeated the Cougars in 12 innings in the completion of a game that had been suspended April 11.
Play was stopped because of darkness with Basic leading 9-6 with two outs in the top of the 12th.
The Wolves added another run Thursday on a passed ball. In all, Basic had two hits in the 12th and took advantage of three walks and an error.
• The Meadows 17, Warren-Walker 0 — At The Meadows, Guy Capanna and Mike Wallace each went 2-for-4 with two RBIs as the Mustangs blasted the Wolverines.
