INTERNET ONLY: Barner guides Gators go soccer victory at Bonanza

Kayla Barner scored twice to help Green Valley earn a 3-1 road win over Bonanza in girls soccer Thursday.

Ali Schaefer added a goal for the Gators.

Bonanza’s goal was credited to Callie Horn on a corner kick, though a Green Valley player headed the ball into the net.

Rancho 2, Cheyenne 1 — At Cheyenne, Jessica Godwin and Bianca Cabrera scored to lead the Rams past the Desert Shields.

Laura Perez had Cheyenne’s goal.

Durango 4, Del Sol 1 — At Durango, the Trailblazers opened a 2-0 halftime lead on the way to the win.

Amanda Lopez, Janie Bordinhao, Nicole Rancati and Josie Dean scored for Durango. Malayna Lankert scored for the Dragons.

Tech 0, Clark 0 — At Clark, the Chargers and Roadrunners played to a scoreless tie.

Tech goalkeeper Chelsea Fuchs and Clark’s Ashley Follmer had the shutouts.

Centennial 8, Valley 0 — At Centennial, Bethany Skelton scored three goals as the Bulldogs cruised.

Debbie McLaughlin, Sophie Krauza, Riley Bassitt, Brianna Arias and Melanie Stafford also scored for Centennial. Jenna Riddle and Kelly McCoy combined on the shutout.

Cimarron-Memorial 2, Eldorado 0 — At Cimarron-Memorial, Amanda Snider made two saves to record a shutout for the Spartans.

Vinci Allen-Steward and Jen Lutjens scored for Cimarron.

Coronado 3, Spring Valley 1 — At Spring Valley, the Cougars did all of their scoring in the second half to defeat the Grizzlies.

Veronica Subu, Skye Sizelove and Nataly Yosef had Coronado’s goals. Brittany Hofer scored for Spring Valley.

Arbor View 5, Chaparral 1 — At Arbor View, Erika Peeples scored twice as the Aggies pulled away.

Stacey Brinkman, Ashlea Andrade and Rachael Davis also scored for Arbor View. Linsey Garn scored for the Cowboys.

Sierra Vista 6, Liberty 0 — At Sierra Vista, Marissa McGinn had three goals and an assist to propel the Lions over the Patriots.

Danielle Reyes, Katrine Baker and Darien Walker also scored for Sierra Vista. Lana Jesic made one save to earn a shutout.

Shadow Ridge 2, Canyon Springs 1 — At Shadow Ridge, Megan Brown and Kelsey Kurth scored first-half goals and the Mustangs held off the Pioneers.

Ashley Salazar scored for Canyon Springs.

Palo Verde 4, Las Vegas 0 — At Palo Verde, Brittany Sak had a goal and two assists to help the Panthers defeat the Wildcats.

Lauren Dudley and Clare O’Harra each added a goal and an assist, and Victoria Nguyen also scored for Palo Verde. Brittney Lott had the shutout.

Basic 6, Western 0 — At Western, Casee Clark scored three goals to help the Wolves defeat the Warriors.

Alyssa Nelson, Brooke Grundy and Aubrey Sillitoe each added a goal for Basic.

Goalkeeper Cortney Breeden earned the shutout.

Legacy 4, Desert Pines 2 — At Legacy, Celia Myers and Camille Skrinjaric each scored twice as the Longhorns defeated the Jaguars.

Saiva Barajas and Vanessa Gomez scored for Desert Pines.
