Race 1 – 6 furlongs, Purse $14,000, Claiming $12,500, 3-year-olds
Instant Action – Crushed an unsuspecting group last time out; faces a slightly tougher field, repeat effort is good enough.
Wineshine – Ran miserably in last, too bad to be true; Baffert cull takes another steep drop in class in search of a win.
Long Shot – Band of Thunder
Race 2 – 1 1/16th miles (turf), Purse $44,000, Maiden special weights, Fillies and mares, 3-year-olds and up
Foreign – Logical chalk due to Gomez and Drysdale combo; third start off a 4-month sabbatical could be her best.
Our Rafaela – Slow, steady improvement could lead to a bigger effort today; the trip will make all the difference here.
Long Shot – Pink Polkadots
Race 3 – 6 furlongs, Purse $50,000, Optional claiming $62,500, 3-year-olds and up
Don’t Ya Lovett – Respect for the Conlon barn that seems more live with its runners than not; goes first time with Lasix.
Rising Rate – Not enamoured with him, but has the tactical advantage of potential lone speed; goes as fast as he can.
Long Shot – Cigar Pal
Race 4 – 7 furlongs, Purse $42,000, Maiden special weights, Cal-breds, Fillies, 2-year-olds
Smooth Performer – Second time out maidens for Sise have a very high strike rate; floundered early, then was flying late.
Final Fling – Logical chalk is sure to be grossly overbet today; Mullins filly had some subtle traffic problems in last.
Long Shot – Ale’s Pride
Race 5 – 6 1/2 furlongs, Purse $20,000, Claiming $20,000, Fillies, 3-year-olds
Missing Treasure – It’s a race that’s inviting a long shot finish; steep class drop and Nakatani remains loyal.
Too Phar – Good second last time off the major class relief; big rider switch to Bejarano, offers value at 6/1 odds.
Long Shot – Golden Venture
Race 6 – 1 1/8th miles (turf), Purse $30,000, Claiming $32,000, 3-year-olds and up
Chadlington – Another race with bombs away possibilities; offered no resistence in last, class relief will really help.

Long Shot – We All Love Aleyna
Race 7 – 6 1/2 furlongs, Purse $42,000, Maiden special weights, Cal-breds, 2-year-olds
Mr. Elroy – Was favored in debut and gave a respectable effort; O’Neill adds blinkers on so much more can be expected.
Dr Zaentz – Stein never wins as the favorite, now he offers value at 5/1 odds; may be ignored coming off the AE list.
Long Shot – Sailboat Sam
Race 8 – 7 furlongs, Purse $20,000, Claiming $20,000, 3-year-olds and up
Semi Lost – Reclaimed by Mullins, one of the strongest trainer angles in racing; well spotted for a quick ROI.
Forest Danz – Logical chalk has plenty of back class to repeat his last effort; tons of speed to lead or follow close up.
Long Shot – Swing Your Partner
Race 9 – 7 1/2 furlongs, $100,000 Cat’s Cradle Handicap, Cal-breds, Fillies and mares, 3-year-olds and up
Curiously Sweet – Exits a sharp first condition allowance win, now tries tougher; tactical speed to sit a perfect trip.
D Pirates Marker – Like the turn back in distance and the parking lot post from the chute; Gomez with a typical live one.
Long Shot – Kalookan Year
Race 10 – 6 furlongs, Purse $10,000, Claiming $8,000, 3-year-olds and up
Pt’s Grey Eagle – Received a very tentative ride last time, was mostly covered up; has much more in the tank than showed.
