INTERNET ONLY: Palo Verde dumps Cimarron-Memorial in volleyball

Palo Verde’s Jasmin White had nine kills, eight digs and five blocks to help the Panthers defeat visiting Cimarron-Memorial 25-22, 25-23, 25-18 in high school volleyball Wednesday.

Nicole Gneiting added 10 kills for Palo Verde. Hanna Korn dished out 21 assists and Tori Lounsberry had 10 digs for the Panthers.

Charmaine Watkin had four kills and four blocks for the Spartans, and teammate Mercedes Howard added five kills.

At Valley, Saige Diller had 21 assists and Maria Palacios had 19 digs as Rancho beat the Vikings, 25-9, 28-26, 25-15.

Yvette Cordero added 10 kills for the Rams.

At Eldorado, Deanna Clark had 17 assists and Danica Pickett had eight digs, eight kills and six aces as Las Vegas defeated the Sundevils, 25-20, 25-18, 25-17.

Sarah Childs had six aces and five kills for Eldorado.

At Bonanza, Spring Valley’s Anne Dastrup recorded 32 assists and Kelsey Swanson had 16 kills and four blocks to help the Grizzlies beat Bonanza, 25-20, 25-13, 25-15.

Brenna Becker added eight kills for Spring Valley. Kami Wilcox had seven assists and two aces and Tristian Hall added five blocks for Bonanza.

At Durango, Markie Malone had 31 assists and Hayley Spelman had 19 kills as the Trailblazers beat Sierra Vista, 25-17, 25-17, 25-23.

The Lions’ Jessica Mojica had 17 assists.

At Western, Maren Foley’s seven kills helped Bishop Gorman down the Warriors, 25-16, 25-13, 25-11.

Mariah Hobbs added six kills for the Gaels.

At Canyon Springs, Kimberly Cross had nine kills and five aces as the Pioneers beat Desert Pines, 25-12, 25-19, 25-20.

Kaloku Kahalepo added seven kills, and teammate Charna Mokiao had 25 assists.
