Kalamata – Taking a big class drop racing first time for a claiming price; tactical speed to sit a nice trip for Valdivia.

Rebel Creek – You need to be a forgiving handicapper, she ran a miserable race last time; reunited with Solis, blinkers on.

Long Shot – Bid of Genius

Race 2 – 5 1/2 furlongs, Purse $17,000, Claiming $10,000, Cal-breds, 4-year-olds and up

Dark Past – Got run down late in last by a perfect trip winner Hudson Bank; improves in second start off a 4-month hiatus.

Long Shot – Social Satire

Race 3 – 6 furlongs, Purse $48,000, Claiming $50,000, 3-year-olds and up

Asteri – Claimed by clever Dutrow off a sharp victory; has plenty of back class and a resume for him to repeat that effort.

Long Shot – Cry Me No River

Race 4 – 1 1/16th miles, Purse $24,000, Claiming $16,000, 4-year-olds and up

Fighting City Hall – Tepid chalk in a wide open race has tactical speed to sit a good trip throughout; back class and Baze.

Spriggzee – May be overlooked because he’s not a very fast, but he likes to win; has teamed up very well with Nakatani.

Long Shot – Mad Adam

Race 5 – 1 1/8th miles, Purse $21,000, Maiden claiming $25,000, 3-year-olds and up

Jaywalking – Knight has not started many at Del Mar, but his bullets are on target; adds blinkers on and turf to Polytrack.

Long Shot – Videogame

Race 6 – 6 furlongs, Purse $23,000, Claiming $16,000, Fillies and mares, 4-year-olds and up

Carrie’s a Jewel – Won off the claim by Mitchell, when he gets them good they stay good for a while; good tactical speed.

Premium Quality – FTS from Sahadi barn that has been incredibly quiet this meet; like the workout pattern for a big debut.
