SHOW US YOUR PURSE

Name: Molly E. Sullivan

Occupation: Entertainment reporter, author and sports reporter

Occasion: Reporting on a story at UNLV for the MountainWest Sports Network

What kind of handbag? Louis Vuitton Babylone.

How much did it cost? $1,300 (I’m told that it’s sold-out).

Where did you get it? Waikiki Beach in Honolulu

Tell us about the first handbag you ever bought. I was a nationally ranked swimmer for 14 years, and I bought a huge pink Nike duffel bag for my very first competition when I was 8. I’ve always been extremely competitive, but I also thought of swim meets as mini-fashion shows.

What do you like about this handbag? I can be ready for work or play at a moment’s notice.

How many handbags do you own? It’s in the triple-digits, and yes, they’re all Louis Vuitton and Bebe!

What’s the most you ever paid for a handbag? A lady never tells…

Image is … a work in progress.

What’s in your bag? Items clockwise from top: MAC Powder, BlackBerry, Louis Vuitton business card case, good luck poker chip from Mayor Oscar Goodman, reporter notebook with pen and “Las Vegas Little Red Book.”
