Race 1 – 7 furlongs, Purse $45,000, Allowance, Cal-breds, 3-year-olds and up
River Echo – Ran a career best winning last time; turned into a key race when the runners-up both won next time out.
One On the House – Dead late closer couldn’t get underway despite chasing a wicked early pace; his race two back was good.
Long Shot – Smart Hit
Race 2 – 6 furlongs (turf, rail at 10 feet), Purse $42,000, Maiden special weights, 3-year-olds and up
Clued In – Dead late closer figures to see lots of pace to chase; Baze riding in great form off a champion Oak Tree meet.
Chalk Line – Speedball did a classic pop and stop bulleting down the hillside turf course; can outrun his high odds.
Long Shot – Cavalry Charge
Race 3 – 7 furlongs, Purse $12,000, Claiming $10,000, 3-year-olds
Asteri – Ran sluggishly last time after a couple of sharp wins; Cerin drops him in class again a modest effort can win it.
Holy Lark – West drops him sharply in class in search of victory; this is the lowest class level he’s ever ran at.
Long Shot – Speedy Swiss
Race 4 – 6 furlongs, Purse $14,000, Maiden claiming $25,000, Fillies and mares, 3-year-olds and up
Nosey Britches – Logical chalk has steadily regressed instead of progressed; this is the slowest group she’s ever faced.
Be Right Back – FTS is by More Than Ready, one of the most prolific juvenile sires; need not be much to play a big part.
Long Shot – Happyhour Athebrig
Race 5 – 6 furlongs (turf, rail at 10 feet), Purse $31,000, Claiming $40,000, 3-year-olds and up
Salah Who – Claimed by Canani so he’s sure to attract a lot of betting; tactical speed to sit a decent trip.
Faulkwood Shores – Speedball will try to bottom out the field, the only way he can win; like the turn back in distance.
Long Shot – Kingdom Come
Race 6 – 6 1/2 furlongs, Purse $14,000, Maiden claiming $25,000, 3-year-olds and up
Kat Kald Kalamazoo – Second start off a 18-month sabbatical; he enjoyed the class relief in return, should move forward.
North Fleet Street – Like horses that draw in off the also eligible list; parking lot post and turns back in distance.
Long Shot – Oakland Avenue
Race 7 – 7 furlongs, Purse $25,000, Starter allowance $40,000, Fillies and mares, 3-year-olds and up
Sportie’s Squeeze – Building a case for seconditis, but is among the fastest in the race; wide post helps, not hurts her.
Justice Is Brief – Speedy sortdid everything but win last time out; she figures to lead or sit just off the pacesetter.
Long Shot – Magic Label
Race 8 – 7 furlongs, Purse $10,000, Claiming $8,000, 3-year-olds and up
Hemet Thought – Takes a small, but significant, class drop to face these; Sherman can squeeze a lot from cheap claimers.
Shakin N Dancin – Ellis cull dropping to the lowest class level of his career; figures to be closer to the pace in here.
Long Shot – I’magambler
