Harvest Festival returns to Cashman
The Harvest Festival Original Art & Craft Show will feature more than 175 vendors today through Sunday at Cashman Center, 850 Las Vegas Blvd. North.
Among the arts and crafts will be jewelry, ceramics and pottery, fiber art, paintings, seasonal wreaths and food such as salsa. Entertainment and children’s events are offered, too.
The event runs from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. today and Saturday and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday.
Tickets are $8 general admission, $7 for people 62 and older, $4 for youths 13 to 17, and free for kids 12 and younger. Adult admission will be reduced $2 for those offering a can of food or paper product for Safe Nest.

Aliante hosting fifth Ice Cream Sunday
The Aliante master planned community will host its fifth annual Ice Cream Sunday and Pet Adoption from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday at Nature Discovery Park, 2627 Nature Park in North Las Vegas.
There will be free ice cream, entertainment and activities such as the Ice Cream Sunday Olympics. Lied Animal Shelter also will offer dogs for adoption.

Event explores beauty of belly dancing
The fifth annual Las Vegas Bellydance Intensive will take place this weekend, featuring a performance at 7 p.m. today at Clark County Library, 1401 E. Flamingo Road. Admission is $25.
Workshops and classes will be offered from 9 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. Saturday at Backstage II Dance Studios, 3425 Backstage Blvd. The fee is $25 per class. The Showcase Hafla and Potluck will be at 7:30 p.m. Saturday at the dance studio.
