Bishop Gorman rolls at Green Valley

Darriel Gaynor scored 16 points to lead Bishop Gorman’s girls basketball team to a 70-45 road victory over Green Valley on Tuesday.
Dannielle Diamant scored 15 and Aaryn Ellenberg 14 for the Gaels.
Victoria Naylor scored 17 and Jazmine Jarvis 11 for the Gators.
• Coronado 52, Spring Valley 39 — At Coronado, Jessica Smith had 12 points and 12 rebounds to lead the Cougars past the Grizzlies.
Sarah Dexter scored nine points for Coronado. Spring Valley’s Tierra Newman led all scorers with 19 points.
• Basic 55, Clark 39 — At Basic, the Wolves pulled away late in the fourth quarter, outscoring the Chargers 21-5.
Basic’s Lauren Johnson finished with 14 points and Maya Darby 13.
Chantelle Robinson led Clark with 18 points, and teammate Joanna Umana scored 16.
• Cheyenne 63, Valley 46 — At Valley, Taryn Hicks scored 25 points and Raven Hicks 19 as the Desert Shields used a solid transition game to run past the Vikings.
Cheyenne outscored Valley 18-10 in the third quarter to pull away. Vanessa Corona led the Vikings with 15 points.
• Sierra Vista 60, Liberty 30 — At Liberty, Jessica Mojica led all scorers with 17 points, and the visiting Lions allowed just nine points in the second half in a victory over the Patriots.
Jeanette Jackson scored 13 for Sierra Vista.
Amanda Delgado led Liberty with nine points.
• Palo Verde 41, Eldorado 35 — At Eldorado, Palo Verde’s balanced attack was too much for the Sundevils.
Eldorado’s Tonisha McGee led all scorers with 18 points, and teammate Princess Jervis had 22 rebounds.
Hayley Henderson led the Panthers with nine points.
• Durango 76, Foothill 26 — At Foothill, Lindy LaRocque outscored the opposition, registering 32 points for the Trailblazers.
Mia Bell had 12 points, 11 assists and 10 rebounds for Durango, which led 26-9 after one quarter and held the Falcons scoreless in the third.
• Faith Lutheran 39, Trinity 6 — At Faith Lutheran, the Crusaders allowed one field goal in each the first, third and fourth quarters.
Meghann Smith led Faith Lutheran with 14 points, and Seanie Petersen scored 11. The Crusaders led 18-2 after one quarter.
