INTERNET ONLY: Coronado downs Green Valley in girls volleyball

Sam McCosh had 10 kills, 15 digs and 29 assists Monday to lead Coronado to a 24-26, 25-20, 25-22, 25-23 home win over Green Valley in girls volleyball.

Jennifer Singer added 17 kills and three blocks, and Shelby Scott had 19 digs and four aces for the Cougars.

Jena Chavez led the Gators with 43 assists, and teammate Sydney Brozovich had 18 kills.

At Cheyenne, Katrina Marcy had 10 kills and Nicole Gneiting had eight kills and four aces to help Palo Verde defeat the Desert Shields, 25-16, 25-11, 25-13.

Hanna Korn added 20 assists and four aces for the Panthers. Suzie Samaniego led Cheyenne with seven assists.

At Del Sol, Kaittin Keathley had seven kills and three blocks, and Vicky Jordan added nine kills and three digs to help Silverado defeat the Dragons, 29-27, 19-25, 25-14, 25-17.

Ariana Valle added 10 digs and two aces for the Skyhawks. Erin Miller led Del Sol with 15 kills and nine digs, and teammate Bryanna Chavez added seven kills, two aces and two blocks.

At Arbor View, Kylee Schraft had 10 kills and Taylor Warburton had nine kills to lead Shadow Ridge over the Aggies, 25-16, 25-11, 25-11.

Brittany Meyer had 31 assists for the Mustangs. Stacey Brinkman led Arbor View with nine digs and three kills.

At Legacy, Lauren Sagers had five kills, six assists, nine digs and two aces as Centennial defeated the Longhorns, 25-15, 25-8, 25-17.

Alyssa Skeen added six digs and two kills for the Bulldogs. Sue Sauiluma led Legacy with five kills, and teammate Talia Morgan-Taylor added 12 digs.

At Foothill, Jessica Stevenson had three blocks and three aces, and Chantelle Monga had five kills to help the Falcons defeat Tech, 25-20, 25-13, 25-21.

At Basic, Giulia Stolworthy had six kills, two aces and six digs, and Stephanie Cinkovich had nine kills and six digs to lead the Wolves to a 25-17, 25-20, 25-8 victory over Liberty.

At Cimarron-Memorial, Nikki Lewis had eight kills and four aces, and Cintia Mejia had six aces as the Spartans defeated Mojave, 25-23, 25-13, 25-9.

Catherine Wyre added 10 digs for Cimarron.
