RESTAURANT DAMAGED
Fire forces cancellation of Lake Las Vegas show
A fire Saturday night at a Lake Las Vegas restaurant caused $200,000 in damage and forced the cancellation of a Three Dog Night concert, the Henderson Fire Department said.
Firefighters arrived at Bistro Zinc, 15 Via Bel Canto, about 7:50 p.m. and found smoke in the ceiling of the restaurant. Authorities couldn’t determine where the smoke was coming from and called for assistance.
A total of 49 personnel from the Henderson and Clark County fire departments responded to the two-alarm blaze. It took them about an hour to get the fire under control, according to the fire department.
One person had to be treated for smoke inhalation.
Heavy smoke from the fire caused the cancellation of a Three Dog Night concert at the nearby pavilion. Lake Las Vegas reported Sunday that the concert would not be rescheduled.
