Greetings from Glendale

I’m one sad Dallas Cowboys fan.

It seems the great Emmitt Smith needed something to do between interviews and checking out the next hip party during Super Bowl week, so the Hall of Fame running back decided to try to break the Guinness world record for, of all things, washing the largest dish.

Smith was at former NBA player Dan Majerle’s downtown restaurant Friday to take his shot at the record. Consumer dining began at 4:30 p.m., and Smith was set to get his hands wet at 4:45. No one could tell us what the previous record was or the size of the greasy dish Smith attempted to wash.

And if you care about either fact, I feel more sorry for you than I do Smith.
