Local California Closets wins ‘Credo’ award

Megan and Larry Huegel and the staff of the local California Closets franchise were honored recently with the Credo Award for 2007. The award recognizes the franchise that epitomizes the California Closets Credo, a system of beliefs about how they conduct business and interact with customers and with each other.

“Every one of the values and commitments in the Credo is important, but I believe that ‘delivering the California Closets experience’ expresses so much,” said Megan Huegel, co-owner of the local franchise. “We are truly honored to receive this award.”

“The Credo Award could not possibly have gone to a more deserving franchise,” said Anthony Vidergauz, president and chief executive officer California Closet Co., the franchisor.

The award was presented at a recent conference attended by nearly 400 people in Las Vegas.

California Closets has been serving the Las Vegas Valley for 17 years, the last seven under the Huegels’ ownership.

When the Credo was introduced in 2004, the Huegels embraced it because it put into words everything they believed about serving the customer and operating a business.

California Closets provides custom-designed storage solutions for any room of the home. The local showroom is at 7350 Dean Martin Drive.
