STEELERS EDGE CARDINALS 27-23 TO WIN SUPER BOWL XLIII

The Pittsburgh Steelers lead the Arizona Cardinals 20-7 after three quarters in Super Bowl XLIII in Tampa, Fla. Jeff Reed hit a 21-yard field goal for the Steelers in the third.
In the second quarter, the Steelers scored on a 1-yard run from Gary Russell. Down 10-0, the Cardinals responded with a 1-yard touchdown pass from Kurt Warner to Ben Patrick. The Steelers scored late in the second quarter with James Harrison’s 100-yard interception return for a touchdown.
In the first quarter, Jeff Reed put the Steelers on the scoreboard first with a 18-yard field goal.
