Match wits with a chicken at Greektown
You have to go to Detroit for this casino promotion. Greektown has brought in Ginger, a Tic-Tac-Toe-playing chicken, where customers can win free slot machine play if they can beat the bird at the game.
The promotion runs through Nov. 30.
“Our competitors may call it a gimmick, but it’s fun,” said Greektown Vice President of Marketing Amanda Totaro.
Greektown officials were mum on speculation that if chicken goes on a losing streak, it becomes the special in the casino’s coffee shop.
Considering the time of the year, Inside Gaming offers its own casino promotion idea – a Tic-Tac-Toe-playing turkey. If the customer wins, the bird becomes Thanksgiving dinner.
