Here’s what to expect during Day 6 of NBA Summer League

The sixth day of the 2016 NBA Summer League will be the first day of the playoff format.

Seeds 9-24 will play in eight games — four in the Thomas & Mack Center and four in the Cox Pavilion.

The San Antonio Spurs are the defending champions.

GAME OF THE DAY

Portland vs. Utah — These two teams are already very familiar with each other, after the Blazers defeated the Jazz in double overtime Tuesday. Trey Lyles, who leads the tournament with 29 points per game, had a few costly turnovers towards the end of the loss and will be looking for revenge. On the other side Pat Connaughton will look to advance his team in the playoffs after making the game-winning three against the Jazz on Tuesday.

WHAT TO LOOK FOR

*What will Jaylen Brown do for a follow-up? The Celtics forward had his best game of the summer league Tuesday after two relatively quiet outings, scoring 20 points and grabbing 10 rebounds against the Mavericks.

*How will Rashad Vaughn fare and Justin Anderson fare against each other? The former UNLV guard may get matched up against the Dallas wing occasionally. Anderson is averaging 1.45 points per game in the tournament.

*Will Buddy Hield be able to get hot? In his first three games for the Pelicans, the former Oklahoma guard only shot .349 from the field. Hield may have to find his shooting stroke and be lights out for New Orleans to advance.
