MUSIC

A free family concert featuring classical pianist Mykola Suk and guest musicians will be presented at 3 p.m. Sunday at Mountain View Presbyterian Church, 8601 Del Webb Blvd. Admission is free. A freewill offering will be taken (341-7800).

EVENTS

The Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Las Vegas is hosting a free film series Sundays in May in support of the Pride Festival. “Latter Days” will be shown this weekend. Screenings will begin at 6 p.m. in the Unitarian Universalist Worship Hall, 3616 E. Lake Mead Blvd. (737-7780).

The third annual Tzedakah Brunch will be at 11 a.m. May 23 at the Cleveland Clinic Lou Ruvo Center for Brain Health Activity Center, 888 W. Bonneville Ave. The theme of the brunch is “Miracles Take Work,” and the event will highlight Project Ezra, a program run by the Jewish Family Service Agency. Christina Primack, director of Project Ezra, will give the keynote speech. Honorees to be recognized at the brunch include: Rabbi Sanford Akselrad of Congregation Ner Tamid and one of the project’s founders; Andy Katz, president of Manpower Inc. of Southern Nevada; Hank Greenspun School of Journalism and Media Studies at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas; and the Jewish Federation of Las Vegas. Tickets are $100 (732-0304).

Las Vegas LDS Temple decision challenged in court
