Lladró to unveil piece at Venetian

Cherub of Love, a new limited edition piece from Lladró, will be unveiled during a special event Friday at Regis Galerie in the Grand Canal Shoppes at The Venetian.

During the event, scheduled from 3-5 p.m., Rosa Lladró, president of Lladró and daughter of Juan Lladró, the eldest of the three founding brothers, will be on hand to meet with guests.

The piece offers a unique vision of Cupid, crowed with wildflowers and plucking slivers of daisy petals. It is finished in white satin matte porcelain, capturing the purity and serenity conveyed by a baby angel, according to the company.

Only 3,000 units will be available worldwide.

Included with any Lladró purchase will be a set of 10 folded note cards featuring the Cupid angel.

Reservations for the special event are requested and can be made by calling 414-3637.
