Fire damages condo near Strip

Four floors of a 10-story condominium building near the Strip were evacuated Friday after a fire broke out in one unit.

The fire started about 6:20 a.m. on the seventh floor of the Marie Antoinette Condominiums, 205 E. Harmon Ave., near Koval Lane, according to Clark County spokeswoman Jennifer Knight.

Firefighters contained the flames in about four minutes, but heavy smoke prompted the evacuation. Four people suffered smoke inhalation and were taken to the hospital.
