Man airlifted to hospital after sledding accident

A man was airlifted to the University Medical Center Sunday afternoon after a sledding accident on Mount Charleston, Las Vegas police said.

Lt. Ted Snodgrass said the man was airlifted to the hospital about 3:15 p.m. Snodgrass said the incident happened where state Route 157 intersects with state Route 158.

The man’s identity and his condition Sunday night were unknown.
