Fire damages Henderson home

An accidental fire in Anthem Highlands caused $100,000 in damage to a home Monday afternoon, the Henderson Fire Department said.

Firefighters were alerted about 2:38 p.m. to the blaze at 2697 Niddrie Street, near Anthem Parkway and Hampton Road. The fire started in a second-floor room and was extinguished within five minutes.

The fire was discovered by the home’s residents who were uninjured.
