Mountain View Presbyterian Church, 8601 Del Webb Blvd., will present the free family concert “From Russia: With Art” featuring music by mezzo soprano Valeria Sokoloa Ore, guitarist Eugene Shapiro and pianist Albina Asryan at 3 p.m. Nov. 21. EVENTS
The Jewish Community Center of Southern Nevada will host the Jewish Book Festival Sunday. The festival will feature authors Daniel Levin, and Annabelle Gurwitch and Jeff Kahn at the center, 9001 Hillpointe Road. Doors open at 4 p.m. The fee is $18 and includes refreshments (794-0090).
The Interfaith Council of Southern Nevada is wrapping up its interfaith forum series with programs this month. The forum “The Top Five Misconceptions About My Faith” will be offered at 7 p.m. Sunday at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Las Vegas Stake, 3400 W. Charleston Blvd. The series will end with an interfaith Thanksgiving service at 6:30 p.m. Nov. 21 at Congregation Ner Tamid, 55 N. Valle Verde Drive, Henderson.
